Hello good peeps! Wow, been what, eleven years since I posted?

No? 

Well, feels like it to me.

And yes, I have seen all the emails asking me to break the silence already and I'm so sorry and I love y'all to death. So, here we are and I have been blogging in my mind the entire time. Not wholly my mind, I have done posts at home too, that I save and mean to post and when I remember to, I have something else am writing about so it ends up in the 'expired thoughts' folder and the process begins all over again. This post gets to that point and I’m suing my mind for non-support.

Anyway, so much has been going on…I travelled to Rusinga Island:

And toured Maasai Mara:

And had a birthday:

 Then I got a surprise party from my colleagues who because of that I think are adorable:

So totally adorable I would feed them on all of my birthdays:

And…did I mention adorable?

Yeah, that's where I spend my working days trying to fix everyone's security problem and though I'm not very tech savvy, I certainly know more about the electronic brain than my parents do, and I try to help them over the phone whenever there's a problem with their word document. Or email accounts. 

You know it's pretty tough for someone to talk about computers especially if they didn't have them growing up?Because there's a language barrier; they just don't have the jargon. Everyone who has ever had to help their folks fix a computer knows this. And, if you work in a Technical Department like I do, you have to deal with the computer unschooled parents of the entire world. And other just general dorks.

And whoever said 'Old is Wise' needs to work in the IT department for a day. Or Safaricom call centre, I suppose?
